Dear Parent(s)-Guardian(s) and Camper,

We are very excited about this ministry and what it will mean for our youth.  We are looking forward to a great time of helping our youth to become better equipped for life.
Please read the Parent/Guardian consent and release form carefully.  We are using our campground at Indian Lake Nazarene Campgrounds.  If you have never been there it is a wonderful experience and facility.  All our activities will be on the campgrounds, except of course when we are on the lake for the water activities.
In this camp and all of the Right Of Passage Experience (ROPE) camps, we are stressing moral and sexual purity for our youth.  We will be having a ROPE Camp page on our web site to keep you informed and updated as to the purpose of these camps.
In this camp also, we are doing some really fun activities.  We are going fishing, swimming, canoeing, learning how to start a fire, cooking, and many other crafts and activities.  We have so much we may not be able to do it all.  Also, we will be having lots of food.
Please campers, read carefully not only the parent-guardian consent form, but also pay close attention on what to bring and what not to bring.  No electronic devices allowed.  No exceptions.  All electronic devices that are brought will be turned in to camp leaders and put in a secure place until later.  We want our campers to be focused and not distracted to the purposes mentioned above.  The only exception is a disposable camera.  Parents will be given several phone numbers to call in case of an emergency
Please pay attention also to the dress code.  Especially the guidelines for swim wear.
There is information below that each camper needs for ROPE Camp, which includes:
  • Registration
  • Medical information
  • What to bring

The registration forms need to be sent in for both camps July 10th for early registration.  The only registration forms that will be accepted for ROPE Camps are the specific ROPE Parent-Guardian consent forms.  No others will be accepted!
Any questions at all about the guidelines or activities pertaining to these camps, please contact me, Pastor Samuel A, Stone III, 517-655-2767 or 517-243-1159.

We are looking forward to a great event and praying that God will help us move our youth forward to what He has intended them to be.  They are the church of today!

In the Service of our Lord and Saviour,

Pastor Sam
